Coronavirus (COVID-19) and travel insurance

FlexPlus Travel insurance is changing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. If you’re thinking about opening a FlexPlus account, make sure you read the Summary of Changes document as this will affect your cover.

From 1 January 2021, you’ll no longer be covered for cancelling your trip due to Covid 19 or a pandemic, before you travel, unless it is for medical reasons. This will apply to all trips booked, or new accounts opened, on or after 1st January 2021.

Don’t forget there’s just one monthly fee so if you have a joint FlexPlus account you still pay just £13 per month, but you both can benefit.

It is not possible to have a FlexPlus current account without the insurance benefits and FlexPlus is not available to buy separately.
