Information:
Most accounts have to be closed either by visiting us in branch or online using the Internet Bank or Banking app. You won’t be able to call us to close an account over the phone unless we’ve let you know otherwise.

Help with closing your account
I don't currently bank online
Registering for internet banking is the quickest way to close your account. You can also visit us in branch to close your account – bring your passport or driving licence and any account cards, passbooks or cheque books.
Can I close my current account and swap it for another?
Yes, you can use our current account switching service to do this.
Why am I still receiving statements?
If your account is empty – but not closed – you will still receive statements.
