On 1 September 2025, we changed our home insurance provider to Aviva Insurance Limited:

If you had a Nationwide home insurance policy with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Ltd before 2 December 2025, and you renew on or after that date, your new policy will be with Aviva. Until you renew, your current RSA policy remains unchanged.

Cancel your Aviva policy

You can cancel your policy by logging in to Home Insurance Manager or over the phone. 

If you cancel you policy you may be entitled to a refund. As long as you haven’t made a claim during the insurance period.

You’ll get a full refund of the premium you paid if your cover hasn’t started. If your cover has started, you’ll only pay for the time you had the cover. We’ll refund the rest.

If you cancel your policy you won't need to pay a cancellation fee.
