Update or cancel your RSA home insurance policy
You can update your Nationwide Home Insurance policy online. You can also cancel or update it over the phone.
Information:
As of 1 September 2025, we've switched our home insurance provider to Aviva Insurance Limited. If your policy started before this date, it will still be with Royal & Sun Alliance Ltd (RSA).

Cancel your RSA policy
You can cancel your policy over the phone.. You won’t be able to do this online.
You’ll get a full refund on the premium you paid if you:
- cancel within the first 14 days of cover, and
- haven't made a claim.
If you cancel after 14 days and you haven’t made a claim, you’ll only pay for the cover you had. We’ll refund the rest.
Information:
If you cancel your policy you won't need to pay a cancellation fee.
