Our financial education teacher training programme
In partnership with the Visa Towns Fund, Nationwide offers two free online CPD-accredited financial education courses. The training is designed to help teachers, educators and other adults strengthen their knowledge and feel more confident supporting children and young people with financial education.
Teacher training to build money skills for life
Our CPD-accredited teacher training gives you the knowledge and confidence to support children and young people with financial education.
Both courses are free, available online and can be completed at your own pace in around 1 to 2 hours.
How does the training work?
Choose the right course
Select the training that reflects the age group you support. Choose the Key Stage 1 and 2 course if you work with primary-aged children, or the Key Stages 3 and 4 course if you work with secondary-aged young people. You can complete both courses if you work across different age groups or would find both relevant to your role.
Get your personal access link by filling out your email and name
Provide your name and email address and we will send you a personal, secure link to your selected training. Each participant should register separately. Your link is personal to you and will be used to record your progress and completion, and ensure you receive your personalised certificate.
Complete the course online
You do not need to finish the training in one sitting. You can leave and return to it in your own time. Keep the email containing your personal link, or bookmark the link, so that you can return to your saved progress.
Receive your certificate
Once you have completed the course, you will receive a CPD certificate that can count towards your professional development.
