What's the offer?

If you’re a first-year student, open a FlexStudent and you could get:

  • £100 cash
  • £120 in Just Eat vouchers. That's a £10 Just Eat voucher every month for 12 months

How do I qualify?

To get the offer, you need to:

  • be in, or starting, your first year of studies
  • open a new FlexStudent between 15 July 2026 and when the offer ends
  • pay in £500 and make 5 debit card payments by 11 December 2026. Some restrictions apply.

You can't get this offer if you've had a FlexStudent offer before. Or if you had an open FlexStudent or FlexGraduate before 15 July 2026. We may change, replace or withdraw this offer at any time.

Where can the £500 come from?

You can pay in the £500 all at once or bit by bit. As some examples, it can come from:

  • your student loan
  • your salary
  • a gift from parents
  • savings
  • cash or cheque
  • a transfer from another account.

Can I spend or withdraw money and still qualify?

Yes. You'll qualify as long as the total you've paid in adds up to at least £500. It doesn't matter how much you spend or withdraw.

What counts for the 5 debit card payments?

Paying for something in most shops or online counts for the card payments.

Recurring card payments also count. They're things like Netflix or Spotify subscriptions.

Payments using Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay count too. Unless they're for a transaction that doesn't count.

These transactions don't count:

  • gambling
  • cryptocurrency
  • cash withdrawals
  • cash-type transactions, like buying foreign currency or travellers cheques
  • loan, lease and mortgage payments
  • money orders and money transfers.

Can I switch another student bank account to FlexStudent and get the offer?

Yes, as long as you can meet the other offer requirements. We'll ask if you want to switch when you apply.

I have a FlexOne children's account. Can I change it to FlexStudent and get the offer?

Yes, as long as you can meet the other offer requirements.

You can apply to change your FlexOne to FlexStudent in our internet bank. Log in to change your FlexOne to FlexStudent.

When will I get the £100?

After you've paid in £500 and made 5 debit card payments, we'll pay in the £100 within 14 calendar days. We'll pay it straight into your FlexStudent and it will show as ‘FlexStudent Offer’.

The account will still need to be open for us to pay the money into it.

Claiming and using your Just Eat vouchers

How do I start claiming the vouchers?

We'll email you within 14 calendar days of you putting £500 in your account and making 5 debit card payments. The email will have a link and a claim code to get you set up on our voucher portal.

Once you're registered, you can claim your first £10 voucher straight away. Come back from the start of the following month and your next voucher will be waiting for you.

To see your vouchers, log in to the voucher portal (opens in a new window) and head to Your rewards.

You can also get to the portal through our app. Log in to the app, go to More, then Just Eat vouchers.

How long do I have to claim the vouchers?

Once you've registered on our portal, you'll have 30 calendar days to claim your first voucher. Each voucher after that can only be claimed in the month it was issued.

For example: if you register on 10 September, you'll have until 9 October to claim your first voucher. You'll then need to claim your second voucher between 1 October and 31 October.

You'll lose a voucher if you don't claim it for that month.

How do I use the vouchers?

You use the vouchers on Just Eat's website or app to add credit to your account. You'll need to set up a Just Eat account if you don't have one already.

Can I still claim the vouchers if I close my FlexStudent?

No. If you close your FlexStudent you'll lose access to the portal.

How do I access the portal?

Log in by going to justeat.nationwide.co.uk/login (opens in a new window).

Or you can get to the portal through our app. Log in, go to More, then Just Eat vouchers.

I haven't had my registration email or I've lost it

If you:

  • are in, or starting, your first year of studies
  • opened your FlexStudent on or after 15 July 2026
  • put £500 in the account and made 5 eligible debit card payments
  • have waited 14 calendar days

Double check your junk and deleted emails for an email from no-reply@communications.nationwide.co.uk.

If you can't find it, you can get your claim code through our app. Log into the app, go to More, then Just Eat vouchers.
