About the offer

What is the offer?

Open a FlexStudent bank account within the offer period and we'll give you:

  • a £100 cash payment
  • £120 in Just Eat vouchers

The vouchers will be made available in instalments of £10. You'll be able to claim 1 £10 voucher each month for 12 months.

How do I qualify for the offer?

To get the £100 cash and £120 in Just Eat vouchers, you need to:

  • open a FlexStudent account on or after 16 July 2024 and before the offer is withdrawn
  • pay at least £500 into it by 13 December 2024

You do not qualify for the offer if you had a FlexStudent or FlexGraduate account open on 15 July 2024. And you cannot have benefited from a FlexStudent offer before. Other terms also apply.

Do I need to pay in the £500 in one go?

No. The amount you pay in just needs to add up to £500 or more by 13 December 2024.

Does my balance need to be £500 on 13 December 2024?

No, you're free to take out as much money as you need.

As long as what you've paid in adds up to £500 or more, you've qualified for the offer.

Where can the £500 come from?

The £500 can come from anywhere. As some examples, it can be from:

  • your student loan
  • your salary
  • a gift from parents
  • savings
  • cash or cheque
  • a transfer from another account

I have a FlexOne children’s account. Can I switch to a FlexStudent and get the offer?

Yes you can. Just as long as you switch during the offer period and meet the £500 deposit requirement.

We'll ask if you have a FlexOne and want to switch during the FlexStudent application.


Getting the £100 cash payment

When will I get the payment?

We'll pay the £100 within 14 calendar days of you depositing at least £500 into your FlexStudent account.

How will it be paid?

We'll pay it straight into your FlexStudent account - you won't need to do anything. It will show in your account and on statements as ‘FlexStudent Offer’.

The account will still need to be open for us to pay the money into it.

Can I ask for it to be paid into a different account?

No. We can only pay it into your FlexStudent account. But you're free to transfer it to another account when you've received it.


Claiming and using the Just Eat vouchers

How do I claim the vouchers?

You'll get an email within 14 calendar days of you depositing at least £500 into your FlexStudent account. It will have a link and a registration code so you can get set up on our voucher portal.

Once you're registered, you can claim your first £10 voucher straight away.

Then just come back the following month and your next £10 voucher will be waiting for you.

How long are the vouchers valid for?

Once you've registered on the portal, you have 30 calendar days to claim your first voucher.

Each voucher after that can then only be claimed during the month it was issued.

For example: if you register on 10 September, you have 30 days to claim your first voucher. Then you need to claim your second voucher between 1 October and 31 October.

So just keep in mind you'll lose a voucher if you don't claim it that month.

How do I use the vouchers?

The vouchers are codes that you redeem on Just Eat's website or app. You'll have to set up an account if you don't have one already.

How to use a voucher on Just Eat:

  1. log in to Just Eat
  2. select ‘Redeem a voucher’ from your account (‘Account credit’ if you're using their app)
  3. enter or paste the code that's on your voucher

The £10 will be added to your account balance like a gift card. So you don't have to use it all at once.

Can I still claim the vouchers if I close my FlexStudent account?

No. If you close your FlexStudent account, you'll lose access to the voucher portal and won't be able to claim any more vouchers.


Problems using the voucher portal

I’ve lost my registration email so can’t claim the vouchers

Firstly, double check your emails. It's worth checking your deleted folder as well as junk in case it's just been misplaced. The email will be from noreply@justeat.nationwide.co.uk.

If you still can't find it, contact us on 03457 30 20 11 (open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Sundays, 9am to 5pm. Bank holidays, 8am to 8pm) and we'll send you another registration link and access code.

I paid in £500 but haven’t had an email to claim my vouchers

If you:

  • opened your FlexStudent account on or after 16 July 2024 and before the offer is withdrawn
  • paid in at least £500 by 13 December 2024
  • have waited 14 calendar days

Double check your junk and deleted email folders for an email from noreply@justeat.nationwide.co.uk.
