The current government guidance is to stay at home, to protect the NHS and help save lives. For this reason, we're asking members to avoid coming into branch if you can. Please first:

Telephone banking

You could use telephone banking any time to:


  • check your account balance
  • hear the last six transactions you’ve made
  • get a PIN reminder
  • transfer money between your Nationwide accounts.

You can use a Post Office to check your balance and withdraw up to £500 if you have a:


  • FlexAccount
  • FlexPlus
  • FlexDirect, or
  • FlexBasic.
