If you want to change or cancel a payment that’s due to leave your account, there are different daily payment limits and timescales depending on the payment type and when it's due.

How to view and manage upcoming payments

Learn how to manage your standing orders and Direct Debits online.

In our Banking app

  1. Log in to our Banking app.
  2. Tap on the Payments tab in the bottom navigation bar.
  3. Tap View & cancel payments to see your future-dated payments, standing orders and Direct Debits.
  4. Tap on the payment to view the payment details or to cancel the payment.

In our Internet Bank

  1. Log in to our Internet Bank.
  2. Select the Move money tab at the top of the page.
  3. Under View outgoing payment, choose the account the payments are taken from and select Go.
  4. On this page you can view your future-dated payments and standing orders.
  5. To change a payment, click on the dropdown box labelled Make a selection and select the change you would like to make.

Regular payments

We’ll walk you through how to set up, change or cancel regular payments from your Nationwide current account or credit cards. This includes standing orders, Direct Debits and recurring card payments.

International payments

International or overseas payment are sent immediately, so you won’t be able to view them in your upcoming payments.

Timings for receiving these payments vary between countries and the type of currency you’re sending.

Pending transactions

If your account balance and available balance are different, this may be due to a pending transaction.
