Your account details, such as your sort code, account number and roll number, can be found in different places depending on the type of account you have.
Type of account
You can find your business savings account information:
- included in your welcome pack
- on your statement.
Sort code
Your sort code is 40 02 50.
Account number
Your account number is 01343556.
Beneficiary
Your beneficiary name is Nationwide Building Society.
Roll or reference number
Your business savings account number, followed by your company name.
Sort code
Your sort code is 07 30 12.
Account number
Your account number is 00001604.
Roll or reference number
This is the same as your 16 digit credit card number without spaces.
Credit card number
You can find your 16 digit credit card number:
- on your credit card
- in your monthly statement header
- on the detachable bank giro credit slip footer on your statement
- when you log into the Internet Bank.
Sort code and account number
You can find your account number and sort code:
- on your Visa debit card
- on your monthly current account statement
- in the Banking app, following the account name
- in the Internet Bank, following the account name
- in your chequebook.
IBAN
Your IBAN starts with GB. You can find it:
- on your monthly current account statement
- in the Internet Bank.
BIC
Nationwide’s BIC is NAIAGB21
Sort code
Your sort code is 07 00 40.
Account number
You can find your full account number when you log in to our internet bank or banking app.
Sort code

Roll or reference number
This is the same as your full mortgage account number.
Mortgage account number
You can find your mortgage account number:
- on your year end statement
- when you log into the Internet Bank.

- on your personal loan agreement
- on any correspondence we've sent you about your loan
- on your annual statement
- when you log into the Internet Bank.
Some of our savings accounts and ISAs have unique account numbers and sort codes. For other accounts, you will only have a unique account number.
If you have a unique account number and sort code
You can find your 8-digit account number and 6-digit sort code:
- online on our banking app or internet bank
- on letters and emails from us
- on your statement
If you do not have a unique account number and sort code
The general Nationwide account details for paying in to a savings account are:

- payment reference: your full personal account number in the format 1234/123456789
Roll or reference number
This is your full account number – for example, 1234/123456789.
Branch prefix
You can find your 4-digit branch prefix on statements.
