Make changes to your policy
You can review your policy and make changes online anytime, giving you the flexibility to:

We've changed our home insurance provider
On 1 September 2025, we changed our home insurance provider to Aviva Insurance Limited.
If you had a Nationwide home insurance policy with Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Ltd before 2 December 2025, and you renew on or after that date, your new policy will be with Aviva. Until you renew, your current RSA policy remains unchanged.
Check your home insurance provider
If you chose to receive your documents by post you will be able to find your policy number there. If not, your policy number will be available in your online account.
Aviva policy numbers begin with PNBSH, followed by 8 numbers.
For example: PNBSH30001587
RSA policy numbers begin with NBSH, followed by 10 numbers and letters.
For example: NBSH003776928P
