Nationwide launches its longest ever 0% interest balance transfer credit card
- Nationwide extends interest-free balance transfer offer to 30 months – now six months longer
- New offer will be available from 21 January 2025 online, on the phone and in branch
- Nationwide also continues to offer its combined purchase and balance transfer credit card deal, offering 0% interest on purchases and 0% interest on balance transfers for 15 months
- The balance transfer fee for these offers remains at 2.99% (minimum £5) per transaction

The Mortgage Works is tomorrow (Saturday 17 January) cutting rates by up to 0.15 percentage points on selected two, three and five-year fixed rate products across its mortgage range for new and existing customers.

- New Call Checker feature confirms callers are speaking to Nationwide and builds on its existing Scam Checker service, used by 100k people, preventing £300k a month
- Just under 3 in 10 (28%) have received a scam call, rising to 44 per cent of those aged 25-34
- Self-confidence low as 28 per cent aren’t confident spotting a genuine call from their bank or building society
