Simon McNamara’s biography is set out below. He is currently a Non-Executive Director at Computacenter, having joined their Board in January 2025 and was previously Group Chief Administration Officer at NatWest Group for ten years.
Biographical information
Simon McNamara is an experienced non-executive director and former FTSE 100 C-suite executive, with over 40 years leadership experience spanning technology and global operations within financial services. He has a strong track record of leading large-scale transformation, operational improvement and innovation in complex regulated organisations. He is currently an independent non-executive director at Computacenter. He was previously Chief Administrative Officer at NatWest Group, where he led transformation across technology and services and oversaw more than 30,000 employees across the UK, EMEA and India. Prior to this, he was Chief Information Officer of Standard Chartered Bank’s Consumer Banking division, responsible for technology and operations strategy.
