Existing medical conditions

This insurance does not automatically provide cover for medical conditions suffered by you or anyone else to be insured by this policy. If you or anyone to be insured by this policy has a pre-existing medical condition and want to see if additional cover is available for that condition, you can call the insurer U K Insurance Limited on 0800 051 01 54 to arrange a medical screening. If you choose not be screened then any claims relating to a pre-existing medical condition will not be covered.

When am I covered?

Cover will be in place as soon as the account is opened.

How can I change my cover?

You can purchase an upgrade for an additional premium to:

  • Extend your cancellation cover
  • Extend your trip duration
  • Waive your policy excess
  • Arrange cover for hazardous activities
  • Add named guests to your cover.

To purchase any of the above top up insurance covers please contact the insurer on 0800 051 0154 8am–9pm Monday– Friday, 9am–5pm Saturday and 10am-5pm Sunday.

What happens if my circumstances change?

  • If a family member stops living at your address they’ll no longer be covered
  • Once you turn 75, you’ll need to contact the insurer to be medically screened and pay an additional premium. You'll need to call and be screened each year after turning 75. The number to contact is 0800 051 01 54
  • If you cancel your FlexPlus current account your cover will come to an end.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel your insurance cover at any time. This can be done by closing your FlexPlus account, at which point the benefits and services of our cover will no longer be available. Give us a call on 0800 11 88 55 to find out more.

If you cancel any of the benefits or services of your FlexPlus account, the account must be closed or switched to another current account that you are eligible to open. No refund will be due upon cancellation.

What if I've already got cover?

You may be paying twice for the same cover, so you’ll need to consider which policy provides the best cover for you.

Should I let you know before I travel?

You don't need to tell us before you travel as your cover is already in place as soon as you open your FlexPlus account.

What should I take with me?

Make sure you have the claims phone number, your FlexPlus account number and your travel insurance policy document.
