Manage your money
Alongside checking your savings interest rate, our Banking app helps you manage and save your money.
Create savings goals. Set how much you want to save and by when. The app will calculate how much you need to save on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Transfer money into savings. Move money between accounts that have the option to transfer from one account to another.
Cash flow bars. Compare at a glance what’s coming in and what’s going out.
Arranged overdrafts If needed, you can ask to increase or decrease your arranged overdraft.
- Manage your credit card. You can request a change to your credit card limit and complete balance transfers to your Nationwide credit card.

Search transactions and check statements
The Banking app makes it easier to keep track of your spending and balances.
Transaction history. View 15 months of transaction history for current accounts, savings accounts and credit cards. Plus you can view 24 months of mortgage payments.
Search transactions. Quickly track down past and pending payments.
Quick balance. Check your balance without logging on. You can even use your smartwatch if it’s paired with your phone.
Security and preferences
We take security very seriously, that’s why the Banking app has these features built in:
Secure log in. Use your passnumber or, if your device allows, choose fingerprint or face recognition.
Automatic log out. Just in case you forget or leave your mobile or tablet somewhere.
Report cards as lost or stolen. There’s no need to call us, you can use the app to cancel it immediately.
Freeze and unfreeze debit cards. If you lose your debit card, you can freeze it with the app. If you find the card, unfreeze and start using it again.

Control how we contact you. Sign up to, or amend your text alerts. Go paperless and cancel posted statements if you don't need them.
Download the Nationwide Banking app
To set up the app, you'll need to:
- use your online banking details, or
- register using your Nationwide account details.
Next, we'll send you a code via text to check it's you. Enter that, and you're ready to start using the app. It may take 24 hours for your current account to appear.
