That’s why we’re still investing in our branches. We’re improving the ones we already have, opening some new ones and in some instances we’ll merge branches that are close by to make bigger, better branches.

All of our branches have WiFi and iPads for you to use for your online banking. But while we know that technology is useful, our branches are really about our people. Because we know face-to-face service is important, too.

How are we improving our branches?

We want our branches to feel part of your community. A place you can come to get the help and advice you need, or just pop in for a coffee and a chat. That’s why we’ve created an experience that we call ‘4C’ - four areas within your open-plan branch, each with a different name and purpose:


We know you might be in a rush. So this area lets you do things quickly and easily, like using the cash machine or speaking to one of us at our counters.


This is where we’re on hand if you need a little guidance, or you just fancy a chat. We love to talk about everything, from digital banking to what you’ve got planned for the weekend.


Speak to one of our experts in a little more privacy. Choose an open plan meeting room or a private pod. It’s up to you.


This space is all about your community. Have a coffee and read a book while your little ones do some colouring in. Or take a look at our history and what we’ve been up to in your local area.
