If you're having difficulties logging in or problems with your card reader, we'll help you find a solution quickly. Do you need help with internet banking or the Banking app?
Then once you've logged in, it's easy to reset your passnumber and memorable data. Just go to the ‘Manage my details’ tab and choose ‘My security settings’ in the Internet Bank, or 'Details & Settings' in the Banking app.
For security reasons, we can't unlock your account over the phone, so you'll need to re-register. It only takes a few minutes and your banking app will be updated with the changes you make. We simply reset all your details except your customer number. Don't worry — this doesn't affect your accounts in any way.
To re-register, make sure you have your account number and sort code to hand.
1. Find your customer number using our simple lookup tool. You’ll need to have your card and card reader to hand.
2. Log in to internet banking using your customer number and card reader.
3. Reset your passnumber and memorable data — just go to the ’Manage my details‘ tab and choose ’My security settings‘.
Give us a few details and we’ll send you a new card reader within 3-5 working days.

You can now find your customer number in our Banking app. Just go to the menu, select Details & Settings, then choose Your details.
With your card reader, bank card and a few details you can find your customer number easily.
You don't have to use the card reader we gave you to find your customer number. Any bank or building society’s card reader will work, as long as it accepts your debit card. You can use it in the same way, and it's equally as safe and secure.

A card reader is a secure way to log in to internet banking. You can use a card reader from any bank or building society, as long as it accepts your debit card. It also adds an extra level of security when you bank online.
