You may have read in the news that technology firm Yahoo! confirmed hackers stole information relating to approximately one billion users during an attack in 2013. This latest notification from Yahoo! is a separate incident from the one they disclosed in September of this year.

The stolen data is reported to have included the names, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, hashed passwords and even security questions and answers of users.

If you're a Yahoo! customer and you use similar or the same data for your Nationwide Security credentials, for example Online Bank Memorable Data, we strongly advise that you change your credentials as soon as possible.
