Switching funds FAQs

Which documents should I read before switching funds?

You should read and save the following important documents before switching to a different fund:

If you're unsure about which fund to choose or would like advice on the most suitable option, we strongly recommend that you speak to one of our Financial Planning Managers.

Without a financial review, we’re unable to make a personalised recommendation, and cannot confirm whether this is the most suitable fund for your personal circumstances or current attitude to risk. If you decide not switch funds at this time, you’ll remain invested in your existing fund(s) and this could increase the likelihood of not achieving your financial goals.

To arrange an appointment, use our online booking form or call us on our freephone number 0800 545 3014. Lines are open 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Our fund performance table has a list of all the funds available through Nationwide and includes the Key Investor Information documents (KIIDs) for each fund.

The Nationwide Tariff of Charges documents contain information about the charges that will apply if you switch to a different fund.

  • Advised Tariff of Charges Part 1: Investment Product Charges - For customers receiving personalised advice through a Nationwide Financial Adviser)
  • Advised Tariff of Charges Part 1: Adviser Charges - For customers who invested through a Nationwide Financial Adviser before 27 July 2015)

You should also refer to the Key Investor Information Document (KIID) that relates to your chosen fund – these can be found in our fund table.

You can see how individual funds are performing with our fund performance table.

You can also log in to the Investor Portfolio Service (IPS) to manage your investment funds online and review your fund performance with up-to-date valuations.

If you can’t find what you need on this page or in your switching guide, call us on our freephone number 0800 545 3014 and we’ll be happy to help. Lines are open 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
