Managing your mortgage online - FAQs

You can view your mortgage account online via the Internet Bank. Simply log in and view your account.

If you don’t currently bank online but would like to be able to view your mortgage, you'll need to register for the Internet Bank. You just need your mortgage account number.

If you’d prefer to speak to someone about your mortgage, give us a call on 0800 30 20 11 or visit us in branch.

You can overpay your mortgage by transferring money via our Internet Bank. A single transfer can be up to £100,000. If you want to pay more than £100,000 you can make multiple transfers, providing you have sufficient cleared funds available.

Here's how to set up a single payment online:

  1. Log in to the Internet Bank
  2. Select 'Move money'
  3. Find 'Pay a bill or send money to someone'
  4. Choose your account
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Before making an overpayment, please find out more about overpayments to check for any Early Repayment Charges (ERC).

You can change your overpayment preference by clicking on your mortgage account in the Internet Bank and choosing the overpayments option. Changes can take up to 48 hours to take effect.

Unless you’ve told us otherwise, your account will be set to recalculate your payments when you overpay by £500 or more. This can be changed to reduce your term if you have a capital repayment mortgage and can be changed at any time.
