Your account number can be found on the Internet Bank or on your account statement. Please remember to always quote your account number on your paying in or withdrawal requests.

You can use your paying in slip to pay money via post into your account, you can log into the Internet Bank and Banking app to and move money between your Nationwide accounts (if you’re registered).

You can also set up a standing order to make regular payments into your Direct Saver account – please contact your current account provider.

When using your withdrawal slip you can withdraw up to £500,000 by cheque, just use the envelope provided.

Your annual statement provides details of all your transactions since your last statement and any interest paid from 1 September to 31 August.

You can check your current interest rate here, by logging in to the Internet Bank or Banking app (if you’re registered), by asking us in branch or by contacting us on 0800 30 20 11.

You can select to close your account on your withdrawal slip, by closing your account via the Internet Bank or by visiting us in one of our branches.
