What should I do if I've locked my PIN?

We’ll lock your PIN if you enter it incorrectly three times.

If you remember what it is, you can unlock it at an ATM

  1. Insert your card.
  2. Enter your PIN.
  3. Select 'PIN services'.
  4. Select 'PIN unlock'.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.

If you can’t remember your PIN, you can ask us for a new one

We’ll post a new PIN to you within 5 working days.

Ways to request a new PIN


If your PIN is locked, contactless won't work until you have used your new PIN. Using a cash machine, or making a chip and PIN purchase will do the trick.

You can still get cash or make a payment without your card and PIN

Pop into branch with your ID and a member of our team will help you withdraw money or make a payment.
