How do I make a change to a standing order?

You won’t be able to change a standing order if it’s due the same day, but you can change it:

  • The day before in branch (before 5pm).
  • The day before online (before 4pm), Monday to Friday.
  • 3 days before over the phone.

Use the Internet Bank to skip, cancel or change a standing order

  1. Log in to the Internet Bank.
  2. Click on the ‘Move money’ tab at the top of the page.
  3. From the ‘View outgoing payments’ box, choose the account and press ‘Go’.
  4. From the list, find the payment you want to change.
  5. From the dropdown list next to the payment, select the change you wish to make.
  6. Select ‘Go’.
  7. Follow the instructions to make the change.

Log in to the Internet Bank

Hints and tips:

Payments are made on weekdays (excluding Bank holidays), so if the payment date falls on a weekend or a bank holiday, the payment will be made the next working day.
