Money I paid in at an ATM isn’t in my account yet

If you paid cash in using a self-service machine (without an envelope)

The money should be added to your account immediately.

If you paid cash in using a standard cash machine (with an envelope)

The money will be added to your account by 5pm the next working day.

If you paid in a cheque

All cheques paid in via a Nationwide Branch or Nationwide Fast ATM before 7pm (Monday to Friday) will clear by 11.59pm the next working day.

For withdrawal and "certainty", if a cheque is paid in to the account on a Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holiday or at a Nationwide cash machine then the day of deposit will be the next working day.

If the money still isn’t showing up, please get in touch with us as soon as possible
