Sometimes life can be challenging. Our Specialist Support team is here to help when you need it most.

Who we can help

We offer a confidential service to help customers, and their carers, manage their Nationwide accounts when they’re going through challenging times.

It might be that you need to talk through your finances because you’re living with, or recovering from, an illness (like cancer, depression or anxiety), having problems with your memory or caring for a loved one. Either way, you’re in just the right place.

There’s no one size fits all when it comes to how we can help. Our team is specially trained to assist with financial concerns you, or your family, may have about your Nationwide accounts.

How we can help you

When you get in touch, you’ll work with one of our understanding Specialist Support team members. They’ll listen to you, talk through your concerns and look at any ways that we may be able to help.

  • Working with you to review your income and outgoings, and discussing your financial concerns.
  • One-to-one support with your Nationwide products – such as your credit card, mortgage, savings, or current account.
  • Talking through your immediate money worries and seeing if there are ways we can make managing your finances easier, while you’re going through a challenging time.
  • Putting in place a personalised plan for the future, based on your financial situation and circumstances.
  • Looking at how loved ones or carers may be able to help you manage your money – if this is something you’d like to know more about.
  • Giving you practical support to help you take back control of your money if you're dealing with financial abuse.

What we can offer will depend on your personal situation. Your Specialist Support Manager will discuss the options available and if we can’t help, we’ll recommend trusted organisations who may be able to.
