Welcome to the Nationwide Third Party Portal
Quicker payments to support small businesses through coronavirus (COVID-19)
We recognise that in the current climate, quicker payments may help keep small businesses open. Starting from April 2020, we’re working to pay our micro, small and medium enterprise (SME) suppliers within 10 working days of the invoice date.
Suppliers identified as SMEs have been contacted.
If you believe you are eligible and the employee that issues your invoices has not been contacted by us already, please email email@example.com.
Our Third Party Portal is designed to provide any new, potential or existing Third Parties all the information they need to know about supplying goods and services to Nationwide.
At Nationwide we endeavour to partner with organisations that demonstrate a commitment to our mutual values, ethics, policies and standards. Please read through the information on this website before sending us an e-mail through the contact us page.
Third Parties are used as an extension of our own organisation and are therefore key to the execution of our business objectives. So it is imperative that we not only work with the right organisations, but also that we are seen as their customer of choice.
Nationwide is the UK's (and the world's) largest building society with 16,000 employees, over 750 branches, assets of £200 billion and 15 million members. We are one of the largest savings providers and a top- three provider of mortgages in the UK.
Nationwide has mutual (as opposed to Public Limited Company) status, meaning that it is owned by and run solely for the benefit of its members.
We exist to look after our customers' money and put their needs first. This translates into some real benefits for our members, primarily through better rates and lower charges. Owing to belonging to our members, we take care to run the business responsibly, lending prudently and avoiding excessive risk. That is why we were able to weather the credit crunch better than most of our competitors, emerging strong and independent. During that period we actually strengthened our capital ratios - the key measure of our financial strength.
In addition to the branch network Nationwide has over 20 operational buildings across the United Kingdom. The main offices are below:

From its origins in the co-operative movement, Nationwide has over 150 years’ experience of socially responsible behaviours, which is reflected in our choice of ethical Third Parties and our work to aid local and national charities.
More information about corporate responsibility
Nationwide believes in continually striving to exceed expectations of socially responsible behaviour in everything it does. We demonstrate our continuing commitment to corporate responsibility by dealing with our regulator, customers and Third Parties in an open and co-operative fashion, and at all times abiding by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) principles.
Nationwide expects all of its Third Party to adopt and adhere to the same high standards of integrity and it is important to Nationwide that all of our Third Parties represent us in a manner that enhances our reputation and our relationships with our members, employees, regulators and stakeholders.
At Nationwide we have a set of values, expectations and promises that we've summarised in something special we call PRIDE. And it is PRIDE that makes our difference, our brand come to life.
Pride stands for:
And with every letter, there's a promise that we make to our customers plus a set of 'behavioural standards' that we ask of ourselves and our Third Parties to ensure we deliver on the promise.
