Please make sure that your information in the 'My details' section of the Internet Bank (including your email address and mobile phone number) is up to date.

Before you apply, please note:

  • You must be a UK resident.
  • You’ll need to tell us your email address and mobile phone number as part of account opening. If you have already given Nationwide an email address and mobile phone number when opening another product, please make sure you use the same email address and mobile phone number for this application.

You can also apply for this account in branch. You must be aged 16 or over and be a UK resident.

You also qualify if you hold a FlexAccount and:

- have been paying in £750+ a month for the past 3 months (excluding transfers from any Nationwide account held by you or anyone else)
OR
- you have completed an account switch to us (from a non-Nationwide account) through our Current Account Switch Team in the past 4 months.
