Want to make sure this summer goes smoothly?

...Here are a few tips for a stress-free holiday.

Make sure your bank or building society has your mobile number.

...That way, if there’s any strange activity on your account,

...they’ll be able to call or text you instead of blocking your card.

You could register for a mobile payment service before you go,

...so if your card is lost or stolen,

...and you’ve let your provider know,

...you’ll still be able to pay for things using your mobile.

Make sure you have travel insurance – you might even have it as part of your current account.

...And keep emergency numbers in a safe place in case you need them.

Try not to keep all your cash and cards in the same place.

...But if the worst does happen,

...cancel your cards straight away and let the police know,

...as your insurance company might need the police report.

So now you’ve got all that sorted, enjoy your well-earned break.
