From TalkBack events, AGMS to our Connect Community discussions, we firmly believe in listening to our members’ opinions.

We're always looking for more ways to reach out to our members

In July 2017 we launched a campaign to celebrate the voices and experiences of ordinary people through performance poetry.

Nic was really moved by the performances

It inspired him to capture his own spoken word. Nic told us how poetry had helped him during his mental health struggles.

We gave Nic his own platform to be heard

We hooked him up with one of our seasoned London poets, who became his mentor.

With their help, Nic perfected his work ‘Invisible’. The experience renewed his confidence. So much so that he agreed to be filmed reading his work.

The film was shot at Falmouth’s Little Dennis Castle

It’s a place that Nic walks his dog and can collect his thoughts. Nic’s message became part of our Voices campaign and aired as an advert on World Mental Health Day.
