These are just some of what you can expect from our regular Nationwide events. So our members can ask their questions and have their say, we hold a variety of events throughout the year. They’re all free to take part in, you just need to pick the event that interests you and register.

Money Matters with Nationwide is all about exploring your relationship with money, the challenges that we all face and any techniques and tips that may be able to help you make your money stretch further.

At Nationwide, we’re committed to protecting you from fraud and scams. Criminals are tricking people into sharing personal and financial information through cold calls, emails and texts.

We recognise that we can only beat the criminals by working together, and giving you the awareness you need, to prevent you falling victim.

We know that being a first time buyer can be a daunting process, so whether you’re starting to look at properties, applying for a mortgage or want to know more about what additional support there is, we’ll talk you through the home buying process and give you some top tips along the way.

Releasing equity with Nationwide

If you’d like to live a little better in retirement, releasing the equity in your home could help. Find out how we can help unlock the value in your home with our specialist mortgage advisers, who will talk you through our range of borrowing options and answer any questions you might have.

To apply you need to be aged 55 to 84 (or 94 if you’re an existing Nationwide mortgage member) and depending on the option that’s right for you, you may also need to be receiving retirement income.

Tea & Tech

We offer smaller Tea & Tech sessions, in branch or virtually. Make a cuppa and speak with one of our colleagues who will run you through a variety of topics from registering and using digital banking, to setting up bill payments and checking balances.

We want to give you the confidence to use our digital tools and remain safe in doing so.

We’ll talk you through the basics such as, what range of investments are available, how to consider the level of risk you'd be comfortable with and how our investment advice service could help you in the future.
