Safari 2 Setup

If your copy of Safari is set up as below, you should be able to access our services without any difficulties.

Note: we no longer support earlier versions of Safari for Security reasons.

Getting to the settings

• go to Safari > Preferences (or Command + ,)

Security

In the Security section, ensure that

• Enable JavaScript is checked
• Accept Cookies is set either to:
  • Always or
  • Only from sites you navigate to

To empty the cache

• go to the Safari option on the toolbar (next to the Apple option)
• click 'Empty Cache'
• a pop up will appear asking if you are sure you want to empty the cache, click 'Empty'
• the cache is then emptied

Emptying the cache from Safari on the MAC

• go to the Safari menu
• click empty cache
• you will get a pop up asking if you are sure you want to empty the cache, click 'Empty'
• the cache is then emptied
