Quite simply, with SavingsWatch, if we change your savings interest rate, up or down, we'll let you know by email or SMS - you choose how. And if we launch a new savings account, we'll tell you about that too, by email.
We offer a range of savings accounts including Cash ISAs, fixed and variable interest rate savings accounts, saving bonds and more.
We just need you to hold a savings account with us (excluding clubs, charities and organisations accounts), be aged 16 or over and hold and provide a valid email address; and a valid mobile telephone number, if you want to receive rate change notifications by SMS.
Please note: when you register for SavingsWatch you are consenting to receive marketing communications by letter, telephone, email, SMS and other electronic means relating to SavingsWatch and other Nationwide products and services. Even if you had previously notified Nationwide that you did not wish to receive marketing communications.

Once you have subscribed to the service you will receive a welcome message. Once you have received your welcome message you'll be able to enjoy the convenience of receiving notifications of interest rate changes we make on savings accounts you hold, by email or SMS. We'll also send you an email if we launch a new savings account.
SavingsWatch is designed to help our savers know about changes that might affect the way they save - what's more it's free and easy to register! Being registered for SavingsWatch means that if we change your savings rate, up or down, we'll let you know by SMS or email - you choose how. And if we launch a new savings account we'll tell you, only by email.

SavingsWatch provides notifications about rate changes we make to our savings accounts and about new savings accounts we launch that might suit your needs better. Notifications will not be sent in relation to other Nationwide products such as Insurance or Mortgages.

Yes, once your savings account is open you'll be able to subscribe to SavingsWatch by:
You'll receive your welcome email or SMS within 5 working days of subscribing to SavingsWatch.
If you're abroad when you receive a SavingsWatch SMS and are 'roaming' (that means using a host network for connectivity when you're abroad) you may be charged for this - this will depend on your tariff, therefore please ensure you check with your mobile phone provider before you go.
No, only the account holder who has subscribed for the SavingsWatch service will receive SavingsWatch notifications.
Yes, Attorneys acting under a valid Power of Attorney which is registered with us will be able to subscribe for SavingsWatch on behalf of the account holder. SavingsWatch notifications will be sent to the mobile number/email address held for the account holder.
Yes, if you hold more than one Nationwide savings account you will receive a separate notification for each savings account should we change the rate on more than one account.
