If you have any questions about managing your Treasurers' Trust account, check the frequently asked questions below to see if we can help (just click the question and the answer will appear underneath):

From time to time, to help us protect you from financial crime we are required to check that we have the correct details for Treasurers' Trust accounts. This means that we have to ask you, the account holder, to provide us with details of the account signatories.

If we are unable to verify the details of those operating any particular Treasurers' Trust account we are required to restrict withdrawals on the account.

Simply take your payment to a Nationwide branch and pay over the counter. Cash deposits will earn interest from the day of deposit.

If paying in coins, please ensure they are correctly sorted. We cannot accept more than £10 in change in any one day.

You can pay up to £5,000 a day in notes. Again, please ensure they are correctly sorted.

Cheques paid in will start earning you interest at the start of the 2nd day following the day of deposit.

If you expect to pay in more than ten cheques per day, you can make an arrangement with your branch manager.

Simply bring your passbook along to your branch and complete a withdrawal slip. The slip will require all the signatures specified when you opened your account.

You can withdraw up to £500 in cash per day. If you need to withdraw more than this please contact your branch to make a special arrangement.

You can withdraw up to £100,000 a day in the form of a Nationwide cheque. If you need to withdraw any more than this, the cheque may take a few days to arrange.

There are no charges for cash and cheque withdrawals.

Interest will be paid into your account twice a year, on the 30 June and 31 December.

Since 6 April 2016 interest is paid without tax deducted. You may need to pay tax on any interest that exceeds your Personal Savings Allowance. For more information please visit HMRC’s website at hmrc.gov.uk

We therefore no longer require you to complete an R85 to receive interest gross.
