You can add money up to the maximum balance of £5,000,000 by:

  • paying in cash or cheque any Nationwide branch
  • setting up a regular standing order from your current account
  • transfering money via the Internet Bank from a Nationwide current account or an instant access savings account

You can:

  • withdraw up to £500 per day in cash or larger amounts by cheque at any Nationwide branch
  • withdraw up to £500 per day using a Nationwide cash machine
  • transfer to any other Nationwide account at any branch subject to the terms and conditions
  • transfer money via the Internet Bank to a Nationwide current account or an instant access savings account

You can find your interest rate by logging into the Internet Bank, or viewing our rates table. Alternatively, you can ask at your local Nationwide branch or ring us on 08457 30 20 10.

Interest is calculated daily and paid annually on 31 December and on closure.

You can choose to add interest to this account, any other Nationwide savings account (excluding Regular Savings and Flexclusive Regular Saver), or your current account.

You can apply for this at any Nationwide branch or you can apply for this account within the Internet Bank if you already hold a Nationwide account*

Yes, there can be up to two account holders for Instant Access Saver. 

If a joint application is made online both applicants must hold an existing Nationwide savings account, current account, mortgage or credit card.

Yes, you can have multiple accounts. This is very useful if you want savings accounts for different purposes.

If you bank online you can also give each account a meaningful nickname e.g. “holiday”, “new car” or a child's name. You can change savings account names by selecting the 'Preferences menu' on your Internet Bank screen or by selecting the “a” next to the account number on the 'My Accounts' page.
