Additional deposits up to your annual ISA allowance can be made by:

  • Cheque or cash at any Nationwide branch
  • By transfer from a Nationwide card account or instant access savings account in branch or via the Internet Bank. The easiest way is using the "Quick Transfer" menu on the left hand side of the Internet Bank screens. Your transfer will take place immediately and your ISA will be updated online to show the new balance
  • Bank credit / automated payment from an account held with another provider using the following details:
    Sort code: 070093
    Account number: 33333334
    Roll/Ref: full ISA account number e.g. 1234/123456789

    You can also transfer in from another ISA provider by completing the ISA transfer in pack. You can collect an ISA transfer in pack from any Nationwide branch

Withdrawals can be made by:

  • Cheque or cash at any Nationwide Branch
  • Transferring money to a Nationwide card account or instant access savings account

You can withdraw your money as often as you like, and you can replace any money withdrawn in the same tax year (subject to product terms and conditions) without affecting your annual allowance.

To transfer your funds to another Nationwide ISA product, you will need to visit a Nationwide Branch. You can transfer to an online Nationwide ISA via the Internet Bank.

To transfer your funds to another ISA provider, you will need to contact that provider who will arrange the transfer for you.

You can find your interest rate at nationwide.co.uk or by logging into the Internet Bank. Alternatively you can ask in branch or telephone 0800 30 20 11.

Interest is paid annually on 30 September. You can withdraw it or you can choose to have your interest paid into your Champion ISA, your current account or another Nationwide savings account (subject to the terms and conditions of the receiving account). Leave it in your ISA and it will continue to earn you tax-free interest which won't count towards your ISA allowance in following years.

A statement will be sent to you annually, as long as you have £100 or more in your account(s) when we produce the statement. Your statement will show you how much you've saved and how much interest you've earned. With a Champion ISA you'll find an up-to-date record of every payment and withdrawal in your passbook. You can also keep track of your ISA on the internet. Simply register for Internet Banking.

To transfer your Nationwide ISA to another provider you'll need to contact your new provider and complete an application form. Your new provider will then get in touch with us.

You can request for your ISA to be transferred into your existing Champion ISA, however please note that Champion ISA is no longer available to open for new customers.

You can request an external ISA transfer pack online, or in any Nationwide branch. You will need to complete and sign the application form then send it back to us.

Please allow up to 15 working days from when we receive your application form for your cash ISA to be transferred and up to 30 days for your Stocks & Shares ISA to be transferred, provided that your funds are free to move and not subject to any notice period.

You don't need to worry about letting your current provider know - we'll do it for you.

You can close your Champion ISA by signing onto the Internet Bank and requesting closure via the template under "other services". You will be able to select the Nationwide account you would like the funds transferred to. The funds will be transferred within 5 days. Remember, you can replace the money you withdraw in the same tax year.

Alternatively you can visit any Nationwide branch.

There are forms available online to change your name or address. These can be found within "Other Services" on the Internet Bank. Alternatively you can pop into your local branch.
