Nationwide no longer sells Lifestyle Protector.
If you have previously obtained an online quote for Lifestyle Protector which you would now like to apply for, simply follow the instructions in the email you received when you did your original quote.
If you wish to make an amendment to your policy you should contact the Customer Services Department on 0800 464 3061.
Lifestyle Protector is underwritten by Pinnacle Insurance plc and to make a claim you need to contact Cardif Pinnacle to request a claim form. To make sure you receive your benefits as quickly as possible you must notify Cardif Pinnacle of your claim as soon as possible and preferably within 90 days after the start of your claim.

When Cardif Pinnacle receive notification of a claim, they will send you or your representatives a claim form. The claim form preferably needs to be completed within 90 days and returned to the address above, along with any supporting documentation (as detailed in the form).
This insurance is optional. If you decide that you no longer need this policy you can cancel it at anytime by contacting the Customer Services Department on 0800 464 3061.
You can cancel your policy within 30 days of the following (the "cooling off period"):
Whether you have a new policy or are renewing your existing policy, if you cancel within your cooling off period then any premium(s) you have already paid in respect of that period of insurance will be refunded in full, provided you haven’t made a claim. If you have made a claim, no refund of premium will be payable.
If you cancel outside your "cooling off period", no further premiums will be collected, but you will receive no refund of any premiums already paid.
