The information below is designed to help you at a difficult time and give you as much information as possible when making a claim.

Legal & General aim to manage all of the claims with compassion and competence. To ensure they are able to do this, claims staff are trained by the Samaritans in communicating with bereaved family members.

Making a claim by phone

By phone: call the UK based call centre on 0800 137 101.

You'll need to have the plan number to hand when you call. The lines are open between 9am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Calls may be monitored or recorded.

Making a claim by post

Please contact Legal & General at the address below. You'll need to reference the plan number in any correspondence.

What will happen next?

When Legal & General receive notification of a claim they will send you or your representatives a claim form to complete and return to Legal & General. They may ask you to provide them with certificates or other evidence as required.
