Sponsorship
Nationwide has been a sponsor of football in the UK for over a decade and has agreements with the four home nations.
Nationwide is the Official England, Northern Ireland and Wales Team Sponsor and an Official Partner of the Scotland Team.
All four partnerships are four-year deals and commenced at the start of the 2006/2007 season and run until the end of the 2009/2010 season.
The England sponsorship deal includes branding on all training kit, media interview backdrop boards, significant advertising signage at all home games and training sessions.
Nationwide has the right to use the official "Three Lions" logo on advertising and promotions and has access to players for personal appearances. The deal also includes the England under 21 team, the England women's team, the England disabled teams and the various England youth teams.
Nationwide, as England's Disability Football Partner, also provides marketing support to a number of The FA initiatives and eight disability football squads, building on the organisation's work with Disability Sports Events.
Nationwide's Chris Hull, said: "We are delighted to have these deals to sponsor the England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland teams which takes our involvement with football to over a decade."
"As the world's biggest building society and a growing business, it is very important for us to continue to find powerful ways of communicating the benefits that we can offer to our members and to potential new customers."
"As a very large player in financial services, we need to consistently emphasise our brand difference to as many people as possible."
"Sponsorship forms a very important part of our communication process and it is a great way to promote our brand to a huge audience."
