Secure online banking

E-mail security

Occasionally, bogus e-mails are used in an attempt to extract personal banking details from you. Nationwide will never request confidential information or security details in an e-mail.

If you do receive an e-mail that seems to have been sent from Nationwide asking for your personal banking details, pin numbers, passwords, or you are suspicious in any way, please delete it immediately. Do not call any telephone number or action any request in the e-mail.

If you suspect you may have revealed your details, you should call us immediately on 08457 30 20 10 and advise us of what has happened. You should also change your sign on details to something only you know.

From time to time we may e-mail you with details of our products and services that we feel may be of interest to you.

These e-mails will come from Nationwide@nationwidebuildingsociety-email.co.uk and will always display your postcode at the top and bottom of the e-mail so you can be sure that it is genuine.
