Fixed Rate Bonds

How to apply

In branch

You can apply for a Fixed Rate Bond in your local Nationwide branch. You will need:

  • Appropriate identification and proof of address
  • At least £1 available to open your account

When making cheques payable to Nationwide, please also include the name of the person into whose account the money is being paid, for example, Nationwide - J. Smith.

OR

By phone

You can apply for a Fixed Rate Bond by calling 0800 111 44 30, Mon - Fri 8am-8pm and Sat 9am-5pm. You will need:

  • Card details for funding the account
  • At least £1 available to open your account

Fixed Rate Bond terms & conditions

Useful information

You will need to be 7 or over to open a Fixed Rate Bond.

This is a lump sum account so you can't add to it once it's been opened but you can hold more than one bond.
