Before you open your e-Bond

Before you open your e-Bond online please read the e-Bond terms & conditions, Declaration and Use of My Information, Charitable assignment and note the following:

You'll need to be a Nationwide FlexAccount holder and be registered for Internet Banking to open an e-Bond.
Please ensure you have read the rates & account details for your chosen term
You must be 16 or over to open this account
This account has a £1 minimum opening balance

Alternatively, you might be interested in a Fixed Rate Bond. You can apply for a Fixed Rate Bond by calling 0800 028 1667 Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm or Saturday 9am - 5pm.

In order to open an e-Bond you need to be registered for Internet Banking, click the link below to register. When you receive your registration details you can log in and activate your e-Bond.

How to activate your e-Bond online

Log in to the Internet Bank

Choose the FlexAccount you want to fund your e-Bond from then go to 'Open e-Savings product' from the related services menu.

Select your e-Bond

Click on the 'Open' link next to the e-Bond you wish to open then enter the amount you want to transfer into your new e-Bond.

Activate your account

Review the details then click on the 'Confirm' button to activate. Please allow up to 5 days for your new account to appear, however you will start to earn interest from the day of the deposit
