Nationwide are using industry standard Card Readers that comply with guidelines issued by the payment association, APACS. So you'll find that if you're using an industry standard Card Reader from another organisation, the buttons will be similar.

If you're using your Card Reader for the first time, you must pull out the plastic battery insulation on your Card Reader before you use it.
