Still have questions?

If you’ve applied online and submitted your “online signature” on the credit agreement, you’ll receive your card in the post about 7 days later. For security reasons your PIN (Personal Identification Number) will arrive separately in the post a few days later.

If you’re told during the application that we need to do some more checks before we can approve your card, it will take a little bit longer. If you’re approved, we’ll send you some paperwork in the post to sign between 5 and 10 days after your online application. Once you’ve sent the paperwork back, or brought it into a branch, we’ll send your card out about 10 days later. If you’re declined as part of the checks, we’ll send you a letter about 5 – 10 days after your application.

In most cases, if your application is approved, you'll be able to sign up for your card online (instead of us sending you a paper agreement to sign and return). By signing for your card online (electronic contracting) you'll be entering into a legally binding contract. You'll receive a copy of the credit agreement for your records, and this will be sent to you with your card.

In some situations electronic contracting may not be available and in this instance a paper credit agreement will be sent to you to sign and return.

Unlike many other credit providers, we won't leave a footprint on your credit file until you've received your individual quote and progressed to the lending decision. This means your 'soft- quote' won't be visible to other lenders, unless you choose to accept the quote and apply.
