You can apply for additional borrowing just 6 months after your main loan has completed.
Please note that all mortgages reserved on or after 3rd March 2010 include the option to apply for a payment holiday and borrow back facility. Any mortgages reserved after this date will no longer include these facilities.
If you are currently letting your property you will be unable to switch to a new mortgage deal and your mortgage will automatically revert to the Nationwide variable rate as stated in your mortgage offer.

Green Additional Borrowing
If you are looking to make some green improvements to your home then Nationwide has a selection of Green Additional Borrowing products that have been especially designed for customers looking to make energy efficient improvements to their home.
Green Additional Borrowing products are available with a 2 year fixed or 2 year tracker rate. Mortgages are available with no product fee to pay (a £99 non-refundable upfront booking fee applies), and offer a rate reduction of 0.50% from our standard additional borrowing mortgages.
The additional borrowing must be used to install energy efficient improvements to your property and must be from our
