AUTUMN REBOUND FOR HOUSE PRICES
- House prices increased by 1.3 % in October bringing the annual growth rate to 3.3%
- October’s increase reverses the falls seen in August and September
- August’s interest rate cut seems to be key to the boost in activity and prices
- But consumers’ expectations of house prices are consistent with a market adjusting to sustainable levels
