Banking

We offer a current account (called FlexAccount) and Nationwide-branded Visa credit cards.

We provide offshore savings through our Isle of Man subsidiary, Nationwide International Limited.

We also provide our customers with foreign currency exchange and equity dealing services. We act as an agent in providing these services and assume no foreign exchange or equity price risk.

Consumer lending

We offer three different forms of unsecured consumer lending: personal unsecured loans; credit card lending; and overdraft facilities. We also offer personal loans secured on residential property.

Insurance

In conjunction with our core business of providing residential mortgage loans and retail savings, we develop and sell insurance products branded with our name but underwritten by third-party insurers. The main products we sell are buildings and contents insurance, mortgage insurance, travel insurance, motor insurance and personal accident insurance.

We also act as introducers for life assurance and critical illness cover products supplied and administered by Legal & General.

Personal investment products

We are introducers for a range of personal investment products, including unit trusts, pension contracts and guaranteed equity bonds supplied and administered by Legal & General.
