How to apply

You cannot apply for a new equity Child Trust Fund (CTF) as Nationwide are no longer accepting vouchers to open this type of account. You can find lots of information on providers who do offer these types of accounts on the government pages about CTF.

You can top up an existing Nationwide equity CTF account with a lump sum or a regular contribution and you can transfer an existing CTF account to us.

You cannot apply for a cash Child Trust Fund online, as it needs to be opened with the Child Trust Fund voucher.

However, you can visit your nearest branch or call us on 08457 302010*.

*Call charges will vary. We may record and monitor calls.

If you have misplaced or lost your CTF voucher, you can request a replacement by calling the Government CTF helpline: on 0845 302 1470.
