If you receive an error message relating to a default currency, you will first need to disable the existing currency. To do this, please read the following.
From the Money homepage, select 'Accounts List' from the top of the page.. Under the 'Financial Institutions' heading, select 'Nationwide Building Society'. Under the 'Common Tasks' menu on the left hand side of the screen, select 'Set up online services'.
In the main screen, under the 'To Do' heading, click on 'Modify services'.
Select the option 'No, I want to discontinue using online services at Nationwide Building Society'.
Then select 'Next', then 'Done'.
Select 'Tools' at the top of the page, then 'Options'. Select the 'Currencies' tab. Ensure that 'British Pound' is selected as the BASE default currency. Amend this accordingly if it is not selected. Click 'OK' to complete any changes.
On the 'Online Services Manager' page, click on 'Set up online services'. Ensure 'Nationwide Building Society' is highlighted, then select 'Next'. You will be prompted to connect to the Internet at this point, if you are not already connected. Your Customer Number should already be displayed. If it is not, enter your customer number manually, ensuring that it is a ten digit number. If required prefix your customer number with zeros so that the number you enter has the correct number of digits.
Enter any one item of memorable data immediately followed by your six digit passnumber in the Memorable Data item + Passnumber field.
If you wish for your memorable data and passnumber details to be remembered for future connections, ensure the tick box under the sign on details is selected. Click 'Next'. Click 'OK' to the confirmation window. Your account details should now be set up.
The next screen will show a page asking you to match your account name and number details. These should already be set up as this was carried out when you initially set up each account. Choose 'Next' if all your accounts have been set up successfully.
You then need to select a date range from the four available options.
Then click 'Next', then 'Done'.
