Properties with Large Acreage
Properties with land over 1 acre and up to 15 acres
Applications can be processed, provided the following information is confirmed by the applicant(s) at application stage:
- the property is not subject to any agricultural restrictions and
- the applicants undertake not to use the land for any agricultural or business purposes.
Properties with land over 15 acres
In all cases, preliminary approval must be obtained by the mortgage centre from our Senior Underwriters before processing the application. The following information must be submitted with the application:
- full details of the living accommodation (including agent's particulars if possible);
- the total area of land;
- the current and intended use of the land;
- the number, size and proposed use of any outbuildings;
- the occupation of the applicant(s)
- details of restrictions on the land or property, if any
