Ex-Portman mortgage account holder wishing to 'port' their existing product

Before a KFI can be produced, we need to transfer the customer's ex-Portman mortgage account details across to the Nationwide systems. This will take approximately 10 working days.

KFI

1. Complete 'Intermediary request form – for ex-Portman account transfer'.
This can be found on our website under: www.nationwide.co.uk/intermediaries/stock/printForms.htm

2. Fully complete and fax this form to our Refinance Team at Northampton One Service Centre (number on the form) to enable them to transfer the account details onto the Nationwide systems.

Note: Please advise the customer that Nationwide will contact them by telephone to confirm that the details they are transferring are correct and complete – they may be asked for any missing information.

3. Once the mortgage has been transferred, you will be advised so you can proceed to KFI stage.

4. Obtain the portable KFI via our 'e Services' website – indicating that the applicant is a 'Nationwide/ex-Portman existing borrower'

5. Their portable product and loyalty product options will be in the display and available to choose.

Application

1. Complete a paper application, which can be found on our website under: www.nationwide.co.uk/intermediaries/stock/printForms.htm

2. Post to your usual Service Centre for processing.
