Ex-Portman mortgage account holder requiring 'additional borrowing'
Before a KFI can be produced, we need to transfer the customer's ex-Portman mortgage account details across to Nationwide systems. This will take approximately 10 working days.
Option 1
KFI
1. Complete 'Intermediary request form – for ex-Portman account transfer' which can be found on our website under: www.nationwide.co.uk/intermediaries/stock/printForms.htm
2. Fully complete and fax this form to our Refinance Team (number on the form) to enable them to transfer the account details onto the Nationwide systems.
Note: Please advise the customer that Nationwide will contact them by telephone to confirm that the details they are transferring are correct and complete – they may be asked for any missing information.
3. Once the mortgage has been transferred, you will be advised so you can proceed to KFI stage.
4. Obtain the 'additional borrowing' KFI via our 'e Services' website – indicating that the applicant is a 'Nationwide/ex-Portman existing borrower'.
5. Loyalty product options will be included in the display and available to choose.
Application
1. Complete a paper application. This can be found on our website under: www.nationwide.co.uk/intermediaries/stock/printForms.htm.
2. Send to your usual Service Centre for processing
Nationwide does not pay procuration fees for additional borrowing applications.

As Nationwide do not pay procuration fees for additional borrowing applications, you may wish to refer the customer direct to the local Nationwide branch.
